What you will need:
- Omega Developers Kit: Click here to Purchase On SL Marketplace
- Texture of the item that you want to make the applier for CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AVATAR TEMPLATE
- Optional: 10L to upload the texture
Preparation That is need to create the applier
1 . Upload the texture or buy a texture
- Unbox the Omega developers Kit.
- This is done by WEARING the objects in the folder. After wearing the objects, in the middle of your screen a hud will appear that says “CLICK ME TO RECEIVE YOUR DEV KIT” .
- Click the hud. [LNL] Omega Applier Dev Kit ver. 3.11 will appear in your Objects folder located in your avatars inventory. If the version changes in the future do not worry. It is now okay to detach the hud.
- Rezz the [LNL] Omega Applier Dev Kit ver. 3.11 box on the ground.
- Open the box . Right click open. Then click copy to inventory
- You will now have a [LNL] Omega Applier Dev Kit ver. 3.11 folder
- Find the Omega Advanced – Standard Applier Kit (Beginer? Use this one!) object
- Rezz the Omega Advanced – Standard Applier Kit (Beginer? Use this one!) object
- Right click to open the object, then copy its contents to your inventory
- You should now have a Omega Advanced – Standard Applier Kit folder inside of your inventory it will be filled with objects representing body parts
Creating the Applier.
Find the texture in your inventory
- Right click on the texture then click COPY ASSET UUID
- Next go to your Omega Advanced – Standard Applier folder . Find the object that reflects what you want to create. For shirts and bras you would use Omega Advanced Applier – Upper, for pants and underwear you would use Omega Advanced Applier – Lower…
- Rezz the Omega Advanced Applier object on the ground.
- Right click the item then go EDIT.
- Click the CONTENT tab, you will see 2 scripts.
- Double Click on the Omega Upper Applier Config v1.6 script to open it.
- Find the line string Cloth_Upper_texture=”00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000″; this is located on line 7 .
- highlight 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000, once it is highlighted right click PASTE to paste your clothing textures UUID. MAKE SURE THAT THE UUID THAT YOU PASTE IS INSIDE OF THE QUOTATION MARKS. Do not change anything but the 0’s
- Click save, to save the script
- Go to the general tab on the object and rename the object to whatever you like. Congratulations you have created an applier.
NOTE: IF YOU PLAN TO SELL THIS APPLIER YOU MAY WANT TO MAKE THE SCRIPT NO MODIFY. This is done by right clicking the script, go to properties, and uncheck modify.
Advanced
You can create your own hud and move the applier scripts into it.
